I was trying to send a photo to my pc using bluetooth, with no luck.

I found that bluez package include "obexd", the daemon that manage file transfers via bt, but nothing, neither in gnome3, implements the "show to the user a message asking if to accept the incoming file and where to put it" part.
I thing it was a job for gnome-bluetooth-applet, wich I can't find anymore.

So, this is my quick fix:
- kill the obexd daemon
- restart it as
$ /usr/lib/bluetooth/obexd -a -r Documenti/Bluetooth

  -a, --auto-accept Automatically accept push requests
  -r, --root=PATH Specify root folder location. Both absolute and relative can be used, but relative paths are assumed to be relative to user $HOME folder. Default $XDG_CACHE_HOME

this way my files are accepted and saved in "/home/fabio/Documenti/Bluetooth" folder
($XDG_CACHE_HOME is not set in my pc...)
... show more
